Yomi Otubela Foundation (YOF), is founded and co-founded by the CEO/Proprietor and Principal of LAGOOZ SCHOOLS, and supported by LAGOOZ SCHOOLS as a non-governmental, non-religious and non-profit organization, established out of the altruism to design and drive humanitarian programs that propagate and sustain the advancing of the Nigerian (and African) child’s socio moral and socioeconomic status through diverse scholarship schemes, ranging from primary school levels through informal/formal capacity building and empowerment projects/seminars;
with a focus on workshop programs etc., as this will leverage government system, the economic and social system, to advance and legitimize the desired change in Nigeria. YOF projects institutionalize the entrepreneurs, innovators and manufacturers, forming intelligent communities in diverse fields of businesses; stresslessly ushering the desired bottom line for every Nigerian (and African) family – Economic Power.
Founder: Chief Abayomi Folurunsho Otubela (FCMA), the CEO of Yomi Otubela Foundation and current National President of NAPPS, has resolved to award full scholarship (Day and Boarding) to qualified pupils/students of public and private schools within Nigeria in order to accomplish one of the major goals of the Foundation.
Co-Founder: Chief (Mrs) Ebunoluwa O. O TUBELA, Principal/Deputy Director of Lagooz Schools, Lagos. She bags a B.Sc. degree in chemistry, 1998 and PGDE in 2006. She has spent over 20 years in the school-teaching services, and has been at the helm of affairs in Lagooz Schools for the past 12 years.
YOF project concepts are designed to provide capacity building through informal/formal education, empowering vocational entrepreneurs, real estate agents, teachers, parents, indigent people etc,; and it proffers wide range of scholarship program. These charitable projects empower the Nigerian (and African) child-(our future), the youths and women, transforming them into agents of change in Nigeria (and Africa).
1. To contribute meaningfully towards education in Nigeria, particularly African in general.
2. To arouse the spirits of academic competition among primary and secondary school children.
3. To re-emphasize the importance of Mathematics, as a necessary tool for problem solving
4. To support public and private schools in the drive to give education a qualitative status
5. To support the less privileged learners in acquiring qualitative education which equips them for favorable competition in the global society
1. Candidates must be ‘A’ pupil or students of Mathematics (scores 75% and above)
2. Candidates must forward scanned documents of first and second terms result as evidence of their Mathematical efficiency..
3. Candidates must be Nigerian by birth or percentage.
